Spanish A Level -
WHY STUDY SPANISH?
Students will enhance their Spanish language skills beyond GCSE using authentic texts and media. Literary and film studies of works by Federico García Lorca, Ramón J. Sender and films directed by Pedro Almodóvar and Guillermo Del Toro will enable students to communicate fluently and confidently in Spanish and develop critical thinking skills and the ability to debate and challenge established ideologies. Language skills gained at AS and A Level greatly favour students’ applications to the top universities and benefit almost all career paths.
