TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS

The Sandon School is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1250 students with an excellent reputation in the local area.  We have superb facilities and view ourselves as an innovative teaching and learning community.  The school is situated close to the A12 on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.

We require from Easter 2019 a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to join a strong and supportive department.  Applicants should have the desire to use ICT for Teaching and Learning purposes.  NQTs are welcome to apply.

COVER SUPERVISOR

CLASSROOM COVER SUPERVISOR
LGS Band 3 (to mid point) £13,112 actual
30 hours 35 minutes per week, term time + 5 non contact days.

We are looking for a Classroom Cover Supervisor to join our excellent, friendly school in Chelmsford.  The post involves managing students in class, making sure discipline is upheld, and ensuring that students carry out tasks in order to minimise the effect of the teacher’s absence upon the students’ learning.

Our ideal applicant would have a background in Supervision or Management; have good general knowledge, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students in learning.  They would be flexible and assertive.
