The Sandon School is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1260 students with an excellent reputation in the local area.  We have superb facilities and view ourselves as an innovative teaching and learning community.  The school is situated close to the main road on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.

We require from Easter or as soon as possible a creative, inspirational and innovative teacher to undertake the responsibility of Head of Sociology/Head of Health and Social Care.  Applications are invited from someone who is keen to take a strategic role in raising achievements in teaching and learning and inspiring students to participate and achieve within Sociology and Health and Social Care.  Applicants should have the desire to use ICT for Teaching and Learning purposes.

Following the retirement of the current Headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint an exceptional Headteacher to lead our successful 11-18 stand-alone Academy.  The successful candidate will share our vision of ‘Achievement for Every Learner’. 

We are interested in an application from you if you are passionate about teaching and learning, can motivate and inspire others and base your strategies on strong skills of analysis and evaluation.

The Sandon School is a Good and oversubscribed Academy serving a large area to the east of Chelmsford.

We require from Easter or September 2018 a well-qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of Mathematics to undertake the responsibility of deputy to the Head of Maths and a key stage responsibility within our successful, well resourced department.  Applications are invited from someone who is keen to take a strategic role in raising achievements in teaching and learning and inspiring students to participate and achieve within mathematics.  Applicants should have the desire to use ICT for Teaching and Learning purposes.

Teacher Training with Mid Essex ITT

TEACHER TRAINING WITH MID ESSEX ITT

Mid Essex ITT has been training secondary school teachers for over 20 years. We offer both fee-paying and salaried teacher training courses in sixteen different of subjects. We are based at Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form with our trainees placed in secondary schools all over Essex.  We are have space for up to 60 trainee teachers to start in September 2017.  Would you like to be one of them?
