The later start should enable:
- Students and staff to travel to school when roads clearer
- Shorter lunch period to avoid outside break periods
- Early finish allows for students to travel home slowly, safely and in daylight.
- It also allows the site team to work towards clearing the site ready for the next day.
Please ensure:
- You leave sufficient time for your journey.
- You have a substantial breakfast as only a limited catering service will be available at lunchtime
- You wear suitable footwear for travelling to and from school, usual school footwear to be worn whilst in school.
Please note:
- Before and after school clubs will be cancelled
- If a fixture was planned a separate message will be sent to the students involved
