Deputy SENCO

Salary: Scale 8 Actual £27,112 - £29,187 (pay rise pending)

Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term-time inc INSETs plus 5 days)

Following a restructure, we are seeking to further develop our highly successful Learning Support Team by appointing a Deputy SENCO to support the SENCO in leading the Learning Support team and to work with subject leaders and teachers to support high standards of learning and achievement of students, promote students’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion, and support students, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.

Ideal candidates will be suitably qualified or willing to undertake appropriate training and have experience of planning, and leading provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
