The Sandon School is an over-subscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1280 students with an excellent repuation in the local area.  We have superb facilities and view ourselves as an innovative teaching and learning community.  The schoo lis situated close to the A12 on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.

We require from September 2023 a creative, inspirational and innovative teacher to undertake the responsibility of Curriculum Team Leader of Humanities and Head of Geography.  The Humanities department has excellent facilities and is a strong and supportive team that achieves consistently good results.  Applications are invited from someone who is keen to take a strategic role in raising achievements in teaching and learning and inspiring children to participate and achieve within Humanities.
